How does the pet emergency service work ?
Anytime, anywhere, at 3 am on a Sunday morning or on New Year's Eve, PetSavers will always lend you an attentive ear and provide the necessary state-of-the-art veterinary care for your pet in need. Start by calling us and we will be happy to walk you through our whole process that you can discover below.
STEP ONE
The Phone Triage
PetSavers is available 24/7 and will always answer your call. If you are worried about your pet, don't hesitate: pick up your phone and you will directly be connected with one of our personnel They will help you assess the situation and will determine with you the level of emergency condition.
STEP TWO
The Short Wait
While you wait for our Emergency PetSavers Surgeon, it is understandable that you might be anxious to help your pet. The PetSavers Nurse helping you will endeavour to assist you over the phone anyway we can, by delivering you precise advice specific to your pet and your emergency situation.
STEP THREE
The Emergency Consultation
While reviewing with you your pet’s clinical history and all the information essential to our understanding of the current situation, our experienced Emergency Veterinary Surgeon will perform a full examination to assess your pet’s health.

After which we will be able to provide you with a conclusion and advise the best course of action ranging from on-the-spot diagnostic tests to targeted medication in order to help your pet in the best possible way.
STEP FOUR
The Consultation Report
Once our vet has taken good care of your Furry Friend(s), you will be presented with a transparent and itemised invoice. The vet will help you settle the invoice through several payment methods. Within 24h after the visit , you'll receive a detailed clinical report and invoice to your email address. These files can be used to make a claim with your insurance.
STEP FIVE
The Continuity of Care
If you're still worried about your pet's health after the consultation, don't hesitate to call us back. One of the vets supervising the triage team will get back to you immediately. All your pet's medical details are shared among the team to ensure an optimal follow-up.

on the following day of our consultation, your regular vet will receive the detailed clinical report. We do believe that sharing as quickly as possible any clinical data or test results with your regular vet is a key point to guarantee your pet's health.

Is the home visit fee expensive?Our home visit fee, inclusive of the call-out charge, is more affordable than a consultation at a vet practice. Your pet will experience less stress without the clinic atmosphere, ensuring a more peaceful Experience .

What is the cost pet euthanasia at home?Saying goodbye to a cherished pet is never easy. During this challenging time, we offer a compassionate solution: peaceful euthanasia at home, eliminating the stress of travel. We're here to support you through the decision-making process and ensure your pet's final moments are serene. Our fees for at-home pet euthanasia are as follows: Urgent/ Same Day / Weekend Call Out Surcharge: £99 Home Visit for Sedation & Euthanasia: Cat & Small Dog: £200 Medium Dog: £259 Large Dog: £300 Extra Large Dog: £350 Standard Cremation & Individual Cremation can be arranged, please enquire on contact. After the peaceful euthanasia, we can assist in arranging cremation services. If you wish, your pet's ashes can be returned to you for keeping or scattering. Alternatively, you may opt to keep your pet for burial, or we can coordinate with another trusted organisation to manage the cremation process for you. We prioritize ensuring that your dog, cat, or rabbit is put to sleep peacefully, with care and compassion.
